We've been heavily anticipating the Palms debut. We got our first full taste of a track weeks ago and now the band released a new trailer highlighting the album:

I was lucky enough to get an advance of the album earlier this week, and unfortunately was not super impressed. I'll try to listen to it a few more times because I have an immense respect for the musicians, but my first impression is this is the mellow, ambient parts of ISIS with Chino singing over it. The single the band released was the definitely the highlight of the album.
We'll have a full review of the album posted in the coming weeks. Palms' self-titled debut is out June 25th on Ipecac.
