Ghost have kept a relatively low profile since their final live show and the appearance of Papa Emeritus Zero, who warned "the middle ages have begun." Since that proclamation, the band released a live album, Ceremony And Devotion, digitally.
The album is out on all physical formats today, including 8-track. With the peak of digital sales behind us, it seems record labels are resorting to any sort of gimmick to move units including cassette tapes and, now 8-track tapes. In a new video posted to their Facebook page, we see the hands of who I presume to be Papa Emeritus Zero popping in the tape to hear what the old Papa Emeritus sounded like:
Ghost are planning on releasing a new album in April. We should know the next phase in the storyline at that point. The band also released a pretty hilarious documentary about their 2017 tour, called "The Devil's Hands," which you can watch here..
