We love when mainstream America pays any sort of attention to metal, or hard rock or even one of the biggest rock bands of all time.
As of this writing, the Chicago Cubs are up 3 – 2 against the Cleveland Indians in Game 5 of the World Series. The Cubs are down 3 – 1 in the best of seven series. So, they recruited one of their biggest fans, Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder to sing the ceremonial seventh inning stretch song. Here's Eddie giving us his best yarl, as noted by our friends at MetalSucks.

Vedder isn't the first rocker to perform for the Cubs. At the end of the season, Anthrax frontman Joey Belladonna sang the national anthem before a Cubs game.
