When bands are in the studio, there is always some extra time to a little goofing off, and sometimes the resulting goofage ends up being really cool. Case in point: Periphery frontman Spencer Sotelo threw down on a pretty spot-on cover of Slipknot's "Heretic Anthem" and got his bandmates Misha Mansoor and Matt Halpern to contribute drum parts, and the dude producing the new Periphery album, Taylor Larson and Will Donnelly. Groove to that shit above! Periphery are currently in the studio recording new music and are heading out the road with Protest The Hero and Jeff Loomis later this Spring. Dates here.
