Alright seriously, the last Scar the Martyr single was pretty damn good, which gave me some hope. "My Retribution" is on that same level.
"My Damnation" is streaming over at the band's website, but it's only (about) 30 seconds worth of new music. However, it's 30 seconds of really solid music. It's basically like if old Slipknot and old Demon Hunter got together on a track and went nuts, this would have been pretty close to the result.
Remember when they streamed their first single and everyone was super iffy on these guys? Not so much anymore, or at least I'm not. Everyone's got a bad song! Or album… or band. But not these guys! Just that first one. The band will drop their self-titled debut on October 1 through Roadrunner Records.
