Downpour, featuring Brian Fair (Shadows Fall, Death Ray Vision, Overcast), Derek Kerswill (ex-Unearth, Seemless, Kingdom of Sorrow), Matt LeBreton (Frozen, Cannae) and Pete Gelles (Birch Hill Dam), are planning on releasing their debut album this summer ina very do-it-yourself style. Unfortunately there's no elaboration on that, so assume whatever you will about the fact that the band are in fact doing it themselves… it could be anything!
In the meantime, you can check out the teaser they posted below. It's pretty cool- a little on the slow side with an old-school kind of groove to it. I'm intereted to hear what they're going to be offering in the context of a full song, so the wait is on!
