Mysterious San Jose-based aural terrorists Altars spew forth a firestorm of bludgeoning death metal terror on their debut, self-titled, EP, which drops Aug. 23 via Sentient Ruin Laboratories and Dawnbreed Records.
Gruesomely dismantling the listener in under ten minutes, these deviant grinders bring to mind the glory and hostile supremacy of historic UK death/grind such as Benediction, early Carcass and Bolt Thrower while also vomiting a barrage of utter malignancy complete with a dark and twisted atmosphere akin to bands like Pseudogod and Lvcifyre.
