Archspire fans, rejoice! We're not only premiering the band's new song "Involuntary Doppelgänger," but we're also announcing the band's first new album in three years!
Archspire will release Relentless Mutation on September 22 via Season of Mist, and the song we've got for you today is a pretty clear indication of how the rest of the album is going to go – incredibly technical and stupid heavy.
This will also be the band's first album with bassist Jared Smith (ex-Harvest The Infection), who officially replaces bassist and vocalist Jaron Evil (Almuric, Funeral Fornication), who left the group in 2014.
"Involuntary Doppelgänger" is the first track from our upcoming release Relentless Mutation. We are extremely proud of what we were able to accomplish with Dave Otero at Flatline Audio, he was able to keep the production clear enough for every instrument to be heard, even at such a fast tempo. We hope you enjoy this track, and we'll be releasing more of Relentless Mutation soon
