Monolord is on the rise in the realm of metal, and for damn good reason – the band knows how to do doom metal right. Monolord's previous effort, 2015's Vænir, was a slow-churning record that had more low end than your stereo system knew what to do with. Now with the group is back with a two-song EP titled Die In Haze and it's a bit different. There's a little more in the riff department going on this time around, as opposed to Vænir's reliance on drone, and the song even has a bit of a swing to it.
