We love Doomriders around these parts and have been jamming their new album, Grand Blood quite a bit lately. Now, you can join in on the fun.
Pitchfork is streaming the entire album ahead of it's October 15th release. That's over two weeks of lead time for you to get familiar with the tunes before deciding on purchasing it or not.
Ultimately, I feel this new album, while certainly very listenable, seems like a step down from the awesome 2005 release Black Thunder and the near-perfect 2009 release, Darkness Comes Alive. It's hard to top those two. While there are certainly catchy tracks on this release, there aren't as many memorable riffs for me, but maybe my opinion will change over time.
