Serdce dropped The Alchemy of Harmony in 2009, their third album within a six-year period of being a band, and then went quiet.
Now the group is back with easily one of my favorite records of the year, Timelessness! After a jarring end to the opening track "Into Shambhala," Serdce immediately introduce you to their Cynic-esque brand of middle-eastern-tinged, quick paced and extremely well-written progressive metal. To miss out on a comeback like this is to simply deprive yourself of amazing music.
Timelessness album is currently available on Blood Music's Bandcamp for the low price of paying whatever you feel like paying along with an option to buy it on both CD and vinyl.
