Sumac, the band featuring Aaron Turner on guitar (Isis, Old Man Gloom), Nick Yacyshyn on drums (Baptists), and Brian Cook on bass (Russian Circles, Botch), is releasing its sophomore effort titled What One Becomes on June 10 via Thrill Jockey.
As usual, the band seems to be taking the approach of longer songs, and "Rigid Man" is just 10 minutes of unrelenting cynicism and gloom. I mean, holy shit… this song is so heavy it's almost not even fair. Plus, is Turner's voice getting lower?
