Texas In July always seems to be right on the fringe of being covered by major media outlets, which means they're always right on the periphery of my memory. "Sweetest Poison" got posted and it brought the band right back to the forefront, except this time I'm not sure I can forget these guys! Check it out and let us know what you think!
Overall I'd say "Sweetest Poison" is pretty damn good. It's not your typical metalcore song, but it's not super far out there to the point where it makes no sense and gets experimental for the sake of being experimental. Grab the album the song is off of, Bloodwork, when it drops on September 16 via Equal Vision Records.
