Today is Black Sabbath guitarist and godfather of metal Tony Iommi's 67th birthday. Happy birthday, Tony!
To celebrate, VH1 classic has launched a new online animated series called The Complete History of Heavy Metal which obviously starts with metal's birth. The animated short focuses on Iommi's career before forming Black Sabbath and how a mishap at his factory resulted in the birth of heavy metal.
