I know the headline implies that you go seeking Nine Inch Nails covers everyday, and that this is just the weirdest one you'll hear today, but I guess I don't know what kind of crazy life you lead. I consider myself a pretty avid Nine Inch Nails fan and when I got the press release that Thou and The Body have collaborated on a new album together, not a split EP… both bands decided to form a supergroup of sorts. One of the tracks is a cover of the excellent Nine Inch Nails song "Terrible Lie."
I pressed play not knowing what to expect, but I certainly didn't expect this:
The supergroup made the track completely their own and I admire them for that. I hate when a cover is basically just a re-recording, I can go listen to the original for that.
