Austin Lunn has been doing Panopticon for close to ten years now and I'm not sure the man can even come close to putting out bad music. Everything that comes from Panopticon is so different from its predecessor, yet always hits the mark in terms of quality.
While 2014's Roads To The North was a huge string-laden affair that essentially defined American folk metal alongside 2012's Kentucky, Lunn's newest effort Autumn Eternal seems to go in a different direction. These two songs are triumphant, stripped down melodic black metal that you're absolutely going to fall in love with because there's essentially no way you can't.
Autumn Eternal is out October 16 via Bindrune Records. Pre-order it here because you need it.
