The hate Nickelback draws has always been an interesting one. Everyone claims that they totally hate the band, yet Nickelback has sold over 50 million albums and is the eleventh best-selling music act in the world. So clearly some of you are completely full of shit.
Regardless of your lies, Vice has dug into the realm of Nickelback fans and asked why they like their music. The reasons pretty much span the usual gambit of reasons – people grew up with them, nostalgia, they just like it, etc. Personally I couldn't care less about the existence or non-existence of the band, but the one song we did cover from them this year had some pretty badass riffs. So there's that.
