Roman Morello, son of Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello, is following in his father's footsteps. In a recent video shared by Tom, the 12-year-old musician can be seen ripping through the Rage staple "Killing In The Name" during a soundcheck with his father's bandmates, bassist Tim Commerford and drummer Brad Wilk.
"One of my favorite memories is my son Roman (who became a fan on tour) rocking “Killing In The Name” with Tim & Brad at a soundcheck in 2022. I have such love and gratitude and appreciation for all our fans who continue to be an inspiration, generation after generation." Tom Morello wrote in his post.
The video shows Roman delivering a great guitar performance. And this is not even the first time we witness this kiddo in action, a couple of years ago, we saw both father & son joining forces with Nandi Bushell for the song “The Children Will Rise Up“, and more recently he reprised Randy Rhoads guitars sections during a rendition of "Mr. Crowley" during the celebration of his grandmother’s 100th birthday, with Jack Black at the mic.
Rage Against The Machine was recently inducted into the Roll And Roll Hall Of Fame, during a ceremony at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, however Tom Morello was the only band-member in attendance.
