Look, we know we'll get a Tool album when we're good and ready, but at this point it's almost become comedy to learn about any new "updates" on the record that we've been waiting quite a while for.

All this week drummer Danny Carey is sitting in on the show, and during his debut performance last night, when he was being introduced by Seth Meyers, Meyers mentioned a new album from the band would be out sometime very soon. That could mean anything! All kidding aside, maybe we'll get the album by next year? Watch the full episode below.
Earlier this year, there was an unconfirmed rumor that Tool was releasing a double album called Decem, only for Maynard James Keenan to call the rumors dumb. Officially, the band has said they are grinding away on the album four days a week, and that the shortest song is 12 minutes long.
