With the release of their seventh full-length album looming on the horizon, Tyr reveals a second track from Valkyrja. Tyr have revealed this racy new track just short of a month before Valkyrja is set to be released. This is indeed Tyr's most sexually explicit song to date.
"Mare of My Night" is very catchy, and very naughty. It tells of a viking beginning a night of bliss with a beautiful woman…who turned into a mare that literally rode him, giving him nightmares (hah!) as well as other things. All explicit imagery aside, this is a great song. It has a catchy, heavy melody that Tyr have been perfecting more and more over the years. Combine this with epic vocals from Heri and squealing, shredding solo towards the end that lets you know Tyr is still Tyr. This song is definitely going to be a hit. It is catchy, fast paced, heavy, and has funny/interesting lyrics. I think this song will be enjoyed by both old fans and new and I am looking forward to see what else Valkyrja has to offer.
