Muscle Beach, a searing post-hardcore trio from Denver, Colorado, returned recently with their newest LP, Charms. Roughly four years since their self-titled debut, the group revealed that time has only made their music more caustic and abrasive. Charms comes at the conclusion of extensive touring or performing alongside bands like Whores., The Dillinger Escape Plan, and Lightning Bolt. All the passion and energy from their live shows resides within the 27-minute runtime of their new album. Especially, "When Horns Grow Teeth."
The video for "When Horns Grow Teeth" is jam-packed with disorienting visuals and the band partially illuminated by blinding white stage lights filtered through 80's faded VHS. The Denver group doubled down on the aggression and intensity of their music for Charms and their video for this track certainly portrays that sentiment.
Charms is available for purchase through Sailor Records and the band's Bandcamp page. Pick up a copy of the record and check out their new video now. Follow Muscle Beach on Facebook.
