GWAR are having quite a time on their first ever excursion on the Warped Tour. By all accounts, they are one of the highlights of the tour, and even unveiled a new song during the summer tour.
Even more impressive is how the rest of the tour accepted GWAR as their true masters. Early in the tour, Beefcake The Mighty killed the bassist of Silverstein and replaced him, and next on the band's shit-list was American Authors frontman Zac Barnett. This past Saturday, Aug. 5th, Zac found himself in a pool of blood as GWAR vocalist Blothar took over vocal duties. Of course, there is video:
Lots of bands are having fun on the Warped Tour this summer. Alestorm decided to clap back at some Westboro Baptist Church protesters. Jamey Jasta got a bunch of his friends from other bands to fill in for him on a date of the tour he couldn't make for personal reasons, and this security guard found his new favorite band.
