Watch: MR. BUNGLE Play Their First Show In Nearly 20 Years (Including A New Song?)

Including a possible new song.

mr bungle live 2020

Mr. Bungle played their first show in nearly 20 years on February 5 at the Fonda Theater in Los Angeles. The band is playing their entire 1986 demo The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny alongside covers of Slayer, S.O.D., Seals and Croft, Siege, and The Exploited.

They're also playing a handful of unreleased songs, one of which you can check out below. Blabbermouth reports the song is possibly titled "Meth." No word on if the song is actually new or if it's an unreleased track from the The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny days, but I'm sure we'll find out soon enough.

You can check out various other fan-filmed footage of the show below. Mr. Bungle is joined by Scott Ian (AnthraxS.O.D.) and Dave Lombardo (Dead Cross, ex-SlayerSuicidal Tendencies) for the live shows to fill out the rest of the band.

The full setlist ran as follows:

  1. “Won’t You Be My Neighbor” (Fred Rogers cover) (with thrash metal stabs at end)
  2. “Anarchy Up Your Anus”
  3. “Spreading the Thighs of Death”
  4. “Glutton”
  5. “Malfunction”
  6. “Raping Your Mind”
  7. “Sit There”
  8. “Bungle Grind”
  9. (Unknown) (“Meth” on setlist)
  10. “Evil Satan” (w/ Slayer’s Hell Awaits intro)
  11. “Summer Breeze” (Seals & Crofts cover)
  12. “Eracist”
  13. “Cold War” (Siege cover)
  14. “Hypocrites” (with “La Cucaracha” tease)
  15. “Speak English or Die” (Stormtroopers of Death cover) (Lyrics changed to “speak Spanish or die”)
  16. “World Up My Ass” (Circle Jerks cover)
  17. “Sudden Death” (w/ Faith No More’s The Real Thing intro)
