If you grew up in the early 2000s, your musical tastes were very likely influenced by the Tony Hawk Pro Skater game soundtracks. The soundtracks covered everyone from In Flames and System Of A Down, to Rage Against the Machine and Anthrax, to Bad Relgion and CKY… and the list goes on and on.
Enter The 900. They're a UK-based band (named after Hawk's legendary trick) covering all the music found on the first seven Tony Hawk Pro Skater soundtracks, which as you might guess is a hell of a lot of music. The 900 recently played a show at Signature Brew in London and, during a rendition of "Superman" by Goldfinger, was joined by Tony Hawk himself on vocals. Understandably everyone freaked out, Hawk looks like he had a great time, and of course footage is available.
