There are a lot of women in metal nowadays, and they are the focus of a new documentary that will be released soon.
Rising Moon Productions announced the upcoming doc Soaring Highs And Brutal Lows: The Voices Of Women In Metal. It features new interviews with Doro Pesch, Epica's Simone Simons, Nightwish's Floor Jansen, Delain's Charlotte Wessels and The Gathering's Anneke van Giersbergen just to name a few. A release is expected sometime later this year. Today, they released their first teaser:
