Maybe the Mayans were right, the end is neigh as musician-like beings Avril Lavigne and Nickelback frontman Chad Kroger announced they are engaged. Kroger is 10 years older than Avril, and the two hit it off when Kroger was helping Lavigne with material for her new album. Naturally, when a man and a woman are working together on new music, sparks fly and fucking must happen. This is Kroger's first marriage, and Lavigne's second, after divorcing Sum 41 singer, Deryck Whibley in 2009. Avril only dates Canadians in terrible yet successful rock bands. If this whole Chad Kroger thing doesn't work out for her, she is reportedly eyeing the singer of Simple Plan next.
