Dave Mustaine was the talk of the town last week, after saying that Barack Obama staged the recent shootings in Aurora, Colorado amongst other places. There was a huge uproar, so big in fact, that Mustaine felt he needed to clarify himself, and went on Alex Jones' show to do so, late last week. But the damage was done. What he said got out there and some musicians were infuriated. We already posted what GWAR's Oderus Urungus thought, but recently two unlikely people chose to speak up, former tour mate Chuck Billy of Testament and Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx. They didn't have nice things to say about Dave.
When the NY Daily News asked Testament frontman Chuck Billy on his thoughts about the Mustaine situation, he basically said he thinks Dave is back on the drugs.
“I think he must be back on drugs to even think what he is saying makes any sense,” says Testament Dublin Death Patrol and Testament’s Chuck Billy, who is a contemporary of Mustaine’s. “There is freedom of speech and there just putting your foot in your mouth.”
If that was harsh, Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx did not hold back his words saying in recent Facebook posting:
“Dave Mustaine is a fucking asshole. I can’t even imagine how deep this cuts the victims’ families of these shootings. He owes every family an apology as well as our great country,” writes Nikki. “Hey, Dave, if you think America is turning into ‘Nazi America,’ as you are quoted saying… Then move the fuck out…”
Isn't it funny that the people always saying love it or leave it are usually the ones who end up complaining the most about what's wrong with "their" country.
