Meshugg – ahem, excuse me – MESSSHHUUGGGAAAHHHHHHH played Australia's Soundwave Festival back in February, and Tomas and Marten took some time to do an interview and discuss what the band is up to. It's a pretty solid interview, with both guys seemingly relaxed and showing a bunch of personality. Here are the bullet points of what I learned from the interview:
– They are writing a new album. They say there is a 90% chance it will be out by the end of 2011.
– They intentionally left out any drunken antics off of the Alive DVD because they felt it's been overdone.
– They hate playing Future Breed Machine.
– I really need to see this band live again.
