Here is a pretty fascinating interview with Ben Weinman, guitarist of The Dillinger Escape Plan. Weinman is not just the guitarist and crazy guy who contorts his body and jumps of speakers live. He is also the band's manager, and has been since it's inception. Weinman discusses the hardships of getting a band of the ground and signed, how hard it was to book shows in the 90s and much more. This interview was conducted before the release of Option Paralysis as there is some discussion of label shopping. This is a very recommended viewing for anybody in a band, or anybody who is interested in the behind the scenes structures of the music business.
