Fantômas – Spider Baby

Fantômas is an avant-garde metal supergroup featuring Buzz Osbourne from the Melvins (and a million other bands) and Mike Patton from Faith No More (and a million other bands). On their 2001 album ‘The Director’s Cut’, the band created metal versions of movie themes. This included reimagining the choral arrangement from The Omen as a speed metal song as well as turning the Godfather theme into an epic extreme metal opus. Their take on the theme of the classic horror film Spider Baby is a more faithful if somewhat more lively version that ended up sounding like the perfect ode to Halloween.
