Crust Couch: Would You Pay $5,000 For A Couch With Patches On It?

I can't decide if this is great or awful.

I can't decide if this is great or awful.

We've been seeing metal appropriated in mainstream culture recently, with H&M creating a line of fake band shirts, Urban Outfitters selling overpriced metal jackets, Kanye West showing up in Megadeth shirts and shitty metal sweatpants, Chris Brown wearing Municipal Waste patches, and the list goes on.

But this just takes the cake. I can't decide if this is absurd and offensive or kind of cool, but I'm leaning towards offensive. An Etsy page is selling a couch with metal and punk patches on it for $5,000. The couch is described as "a large black couch decorated with white paint pen, sewing supplies, patches" and they assure us that this "a respectfully sculpture made by modern artists." But $5,000?! Here's a closeup of the couch:

The one other thing that bugs me, is you're paying $5,000 for a nice couch and then you have to worry about the ends of patches poking at you. So help me decide if this was worth it or not:
