DEXTER's Michael C. Hall Has Been Jamming KYUSS Lately

Stop being so cool, Michael.

Stop being so cool, Michael.

Michael C. Hall is a super talented guy. He's currently in the Broadway play Hedwig and the Angry Inch… so what's he jamming to get prepared for his role? Kyuss and Sloburn. Nothing says botched sex change surgery like sun-drenched stoner rock, right? At least that's what he said on his most recent Reddit AMA:

I've heard you like metal music, what's your favorite band?
Well, lately, especially while I'm getting ready for the show, I listen to a lot of Kyuss, and Sloburn.

This shouldn't be much of a surprise, since he's revealed in the past he loves him some Lamb of God and even in 2010 revealed himself to be a massive Monster Magnet fan.

“A bunch of buddies all hailing from Indianapolis who are really into them, and they would would make these road trips to Manhattan. I saw them once live and I couldn’t believe it. I was mesmerized by Dave Wyndorf and the whole band’s murky, swampy stoner rock sound. I looked at this album and this track as a stoner rock anthem. They’re pioneers.”

Thanks for being awesome, Hall! Sorry about Dexter. We thought it sucked too.
