We promise this will be the last we post about Metallica at the GRAMMYs, at least for today. You might recall a few months ago, we posted a fan-shot video of Metallica singing "Enter Sandman" in a grocery store with Billy on the Street star Billy Eichner. We initially assumed that the video they were shooting would end up on said show, but it turns out we were wrong.
Turns out they were shooting for a new series called Carpool Karaoke. If it sounds familiar, that's because it's a popular segment on The Late Late Show with James Corden that is being spun off into it's own original series that will live on Apple Music. During the GRAMMYs last night, a trailer premiered, that featured Metallica and Eichner signing "Master of Puppets."

Yes, that's the same song that was playing as Megadeth was winning their GRAMMY last night, but of course Dave Mustaine had an excellent burn for that snafu.
Metallica had a busy night, performing with Lady Gaga (video of the performance here) and doing a sold-out show at the Hollywood Palladium immediately after, where all the mics definitely worked.
