MTV and Paramount Home Video have confirmed they will be releasing Beavis And Butt-Head: The Complete Collection on February 14th, 2017. What a perfect Valentine's Day gift for a loved one. The collection will also be packed with a ton of extra features.
Bubble Blabber reports the 12-DVD set includes all four volumes of the show, that means the the 2011 relaunch as well. There is also a ton of bonus material, including a special collector's edition disc of the legendary Beavis & Butt-Head Do America movie. Bonus material also includes “Taint of Greatness: The Journey of Beavis and Butt-Head” Parts 1-3, VMA appearances, the Thanksgiving Special with Kurt Loder, the 1994-1996 Butt-Bowls, MTV 20th Anniversary Special cli[s, the original, un-cut “Frog Baseball,” and a 2011 Comic-Con panel featuring Mike Judge and moderator Johnny Knoxville, promos, montages, among other clips.
We are ready to buy. The MSRP seems to be $47 but Amazon's pre-order page is listing it at only $26.99 – which, for 12 DVDs of cornholios is not a bad deal at all. You can pre-order here.
While we couldn't get confirmation if the duo critiquing music videos will make the cut due to licensing, a few of those did make the original DVD releases. I guess we'll have to make due with our list of our 22 Favorite Beavis & Butthead music video reviews.
Perhaps if the DVD sells well enough, the rumored new season which was never made could go into production.
