Brand new Black Sabbath statues are coming very soon from the wonderful craftspeople at KnuckleBonz!
There are a pair of statues available for pre-order right now: the first depicts “The Witch” from Sabbath’s self-titled debut LP released in 1970. Meanwhile the second statue revisits what was Ozzy Osbourne’s original swan song from the band, Never Say Die (1978) and poses the gung-ho fighter pilot from that album cover in a bold and brave stance.
Both statues capture the essence and artistry of Sabbath in a way that is quite unique, exploring alternate options from the Sabbath canon to create artwork that doesn’t just bear the typical Sabbath branding or are variations of mainstream cuts like “War Pigs” and “Iron Man.”
The statues are created from 3D vinyl material and will be made available as limited editions, with 1970 pieces of the witch being crafted, while 1978 pieces of the fighter pilot will be put up for sale (commemorating the release years for both LPs). Pre-orders for both statues have been launched online over at knucklebonz.com. So hurry up and get yours now.
An Instagram post from both Black Sabbath and KnuckleBonz announcing the new figures can be seen below. The statues will retail for $164 USD (plus shipping) individually, or can be purchased in a set retailing for $295 USD (plus shipping). All items are not expected to ship until Fall of 2023.
By the way, if you're interested in other Sabbath-inspired creations from Knucklebonz, their Black Sabbath Rock Iconz collectible statues which were announced last year are still available for pre-order. The set features the original Sabbath line-up circa 1975 during the group's Sabotage era. With only 3000 set to be shipped to market, theset, as well, is sure to be a hot item on the collectibles scene.
