Metal Blade Records founder Brian Slagel is summing up his label with eight landmark releases in one vinyl box set. The set, titled The Story of Metal Blade, is set to be released this May and will feature the following eight records on splatter vinyl:

Fates Warning – The Spectre Within
Gwar – America Must Be Destroyed
Cannibal Corpse – Butchered At Birth
King Diamond – Voodoo
The Black Dahlia Murder – Miasma
Amon Amarth – Twilight Of The Thunder God
Armored Saint – La Raza
Alongside the box set will come a five-part podcast with Slagel hosted by writer J. Bennett exploring the records and the history of Metal Blade.
