Left To Rot will continue festering away this October with their new EP Breath Of The Tomb. If you'd like to get in on the slow decay right now, feel free to stream "Come To Me" below. It'll lock your ass in a coffin and throw you right out in the 100-plus degree heat. Y'know, to speed up the process.
"There's nothing better than when a mosh pit goes off and I really wanted to write something mid-tempo that people could go hard too," said Left To Rot's Jason Dahlke. "I decided to depart a bit from the riffs I was writing on the rest of the album and take a straightforward approach. When we got together to jam on it we tried to just let the groove guide us with no real desire to make it something it wasn't.
"Whenever Aryan tells me 'That riff jams, dude!' I know I'm on the right track. Justin came up with the idea of a malevolent deity purposely dragging people into its realm to inflict pain on them, so I took that and morphed it into the lyrics. We took out all the frills and just wanted this one to pile drive people into the ground – hope ya dig it."
