Ex-Megadeth guitarist Marty Friedman has had quite the career for himself in Japan. Friedman has lived in the country for the past 15 years and has become such a celebrity that The Agency for Cultural Affairs Japan Heritage asked him to write their theme song. The song is not for sale anywhere, but you can check it out below.

Here's what Friedman had to say about the track and his experience.

"It was a thrill and an honor to be asked by the Japanese government to compose this music. It will be played and performed at official events and functions from now on. As a foreigner living in Tokyo, I'll always appreciate the gracious treatment I've received here and welcome this kind of responsibility in the future."

The song also features the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, strings arranged by Akira Sasaki, bass performed by Kiyoshi, piano performed by Yukiko Takada, tsuzumi drum perofmred by Shonosuke Okura, and kit drums performed by Mitsuru Kurauchi
