Mizmor, the one man doom project from Portland, OR, will release its third album Cairn on September 6. The artwork for the record was completed by Mariusz Lewandowski (Bell Witch, Idle Hands, etc.) and perfectly fits the overall gloom brought forth by mastermind A.L.N.
According to Mizmor, the new album is influenced by the works of Albert Camus and "muses on the absurd premise that is human experience: life is devoid of ultimate meaning and mankind can't help but continually seek meaning in it despite this." So one to show the friends and family, for sure!
