Last December, the metal world was shocked and saddened by the passing of a true artist and one of a kind vocalist, Warrel Dane, formerly of Sanctuary and Nevermore, who was working on his first solo opus in a decade. Despite his passing, enough of the album was recorded to complete his final vision, and will be released to the world as Shadow Work, on October 26th via Century Media.
Today, we bring you the premiere of "As Fast As The Others", a track off Shadow Work that embodies the energy and talents of the late Warrel Dane, and makes us miss him even more. I always say that one of the biggest challenges in music is to have a sound so recognizable it can't be mistaken, a feat Dane continues to conquer even today.
