2017 Metal Hammer Golden Gods Nominees Include NEUROSIS, CODE ORANGE & OPETH

There's also a "Game Of The Year" award now, too.

The 2017 Metal Hammer Golden Gods award show will be held at the IndigO2 at The O2 in London, England on June 12, and will be hosted by wrestler and Fozzy frontman Chris Jericho.

The nominees list is pretty varied this year, though some of the choices are a little confusing. I get that Neurosis might not be known across the board, but they've been around since 1985… so it's kinda tough to call 'em underground.

Also, The Dillinger Escape Plan's Ben Weinman better win the guitarist award. That guy is inhuman.
