Amazon is cashing in on the vinyl craze and offering a very nice offer for fans getting into the vinyl game. The online service has announced a monthly vinyl club, for $25 a month and you get a new piece of vinyl every 30 days or so.
The trick is, you have no idea what they are sending, but they promise the releases will be classics from the “Golden Era of Vinyl” — the 1960s and ‘70s.
The music is curated by folks from Amazon Music. Rolling Stone notes the subscriptions have rolled out quietly over the last two months, and subscribers have received Pink Floyd’s The Wall and The Clash’s London Calling. The market value of those albums on vinyl cost $47 and $32.56 respectively, so you are getting a decent deal.
