A few years ago, Amon Amarth really upped their live show game over the last few years. If you've seen them, you've noticed the hull of a ship as their main, major set piece. Well, it seems as though the band have outgrown their set piece.
Frontman Johan Hegg revealed that the band retired their first ship recently, to make way for a larger better ship. But they couldn't bring themselves to destroy the ship so it is on display with wooden statues of the band built by Daniel "Sana" Alt. What a masterpiece.
We'll keep you posted when Amon Amarth's new ship is revealed.
