The Swedish Grammis awards (basically Sweden's GRAMMY awards) have nominated a handful of notable metal artists in their hard rock and metal album of the year category for 2022. The nominees include:
- At The Gates – The Nightmare Of Being
- Lucifer – Lucifer IV
- Nestor – Kids In A Ghost Town
- The Night Flight Orchestra – Aeromantic II
- Tribulation – Where The Gloom Becomes Sound
