In October 2014, a bunch of musicians and bands put out their music on pink vinyl to raise money for Gilda's Club NYC. The club offers support groups, educational lectures, and classes to breast cancer victims and their families, and through the sale of these records in 2014 the charity raised over $30,000!
Now in 2015, the tradition continues! This year's releases include Between The Buried and Me's Coma Ecliptic, Primus' Frizzle Fry, Clutch's La Curandera among other non-metal releases like Run The Jewels' Run The Jewels 2 and Ingrid Michaelson's Lights Out.
Check out the charity's site here and stay tuned for more ordering information as it becomes available, which I assume will be later in the year given 2014's timetable.
