Between the Buried and Me and The Dear Hunter toured together back in 2018 and offered fans one ticketing package with a special 7" of both bands covering each other's songs. Between the Buried and Me covered The Dear Hunter's "The Tank" from their 2009 album Act III: Life and Death, while The Dear Hunter covered Between the Buried and Me's "Rapid Calm" from their 2015 album Coma Ecliptic. Both covers have not been available anywhere else aside from that 7" until now.
The bands have teamed up to post the 7" on Bandcamp, with 100% of the proceeds being donated to support The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) & Save the Music. Neither covers are available for streaming, but you can hear 'em both when you buy 'em for $4 here.
