Black Veil Brides have pulled out of a few stops in Europe over the death of singer Andy Biersack’s grandfather. This includes their sets at the Gods of Metal Festival in Italy and Graspop Metal Meeting in Belgium.
Biersack said on the band’s Facebook page: “I feel it is necessary for my own grief and heart that I take this time to attend his funeral and celebrate his life with my family and loved ones before I head back into the studio to resume work on our next record.”
What a dude!
Black Veil Brides plan on finishing their third album by August. “It’s going to be more of a punk record than anything we’ve done before.” Andy said in an interview with New Musical Express. “It’s Social Distortion meets Metallica.”
