Prosecutor Denies LAMB OF GOD Frontman Randy Blythe's Bail AGAIN

Everything was looking so hopeful, even Randy Blythe's lawyer thought it would be a matter of days before the Lamb of God frontman would be released.

A quick refresher: Blythe is being detained in a Czech prison on allegations that he pushed a fan at a 2010 show in Prague, and the fan suffered injuries from that push that eventually led to his death. Any footage released from the show does not show the incident.

This whole thing has been in court for about a month, and the last news to come out of the court was the municipal court judge overruled the prosecution's inital rejection of Blythe's bail, but then compromised it to $400,000 USD. Blythe paid it and was awaiting to hear back from the prosecution, which happened today.

The prosecution rejected has Blythe's bail for the second time, with the waiting game resuming.

The Gauntlet broke the story and discussed the next steps in this trial:

What happens now is that on Friday (July 27, 2012), the prosecutor will be back before the judge to give reason for the bail denial. At that point, the judge has five days to rule, and another five days for it to be written or published to the court. The judges ruling at this point will be final and unless charges are formally filed, Randy will be free to leave the Czech Republic without condition on bail.

So there is still hope! There is one more ruling the judge can give, and he has five days to do so. Which means, it's likely that Randy will spend at least another week in jail. This puts Lamb of God's upcoming tour with Dethklok and Gojira in serious jeopardy, as it's set to kick off one week from today, on August 1st.

Obviously, the last thing Blythe wants to do now is cancel touring, as he is already $400,000 in the hole and needs to make the money back as soon as he can. We'll know for certain next week.
