Yesterday Fallujah began teasing what will ultimately become the band's fourth full-length album.
Speculation began flying that Monte Barnard, who has played in groups such as Alterbeast and The Kennedy Veil, would be permanently joining the band. Barnard has been filling in with Fallujah live ever since the departure of vocalist Alex Hofmann, who was with the band between 2007 and 2017.
Barnard has since reached out to The PRP to confirm that he has nothing to do with the new album, meaning Fallujah has recruited someone else.
So now we get to play the speculation game! Hofmann originally said his reasons for leaving were "complicated and difficult to summarize," so I'd imagine he's probably not coming back. Then the only other vocalist the band has had is original vocalist Suliman Arghandiwal, who was only in the band for one year.
Though stranger things have certainly happened. I'd imagine we'll find out who the new vocalist is once Album IV gets announced.
