After five albums and 12 years as a group, Indian has called it quits. The group was supposed to play the Psycho California festival later on this year, but just haven't made it quite that far. According to the festival's Facebook page, the band has unveiled the following statement:
"Indian has come to the point where we can no longer be a band. We have cancelled the few shows we had coming up, including our appearance at Psycho California. We are sincerely sorry to the organizers, who have been nothing but accommodating, and to the people who were wanting to see us play the fest."
Well that's a bummer! Indian brought the violence with its music something fierce and only seemed to be getting more and more gritty and pissed off as time went on. Here's hoping whatever drove them apart will pass and the group will get back together at some point in the future. In the meantime, why not jam the group's final record From All Purity?
The group will be replaced by Bongzilla at the festival.
